Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Edge Shore Technologies LLC ("Edge Shore", "we") collects, uses, and protects personal data when you use the Beeto.biz platform (the "Service"). This page is maintained by Edge Shore, the operator of Beeto.biz.

1. Data controller

For personal data uploaded by workspace users about their prospects, contacts, and accounts, Edge Shore acts as a processor on behalf of the workspace, which is the controller. See the Data Processing Agreement.

2. Personal data we collect

• Account data: name, email, hashed password, workspace membership, role.
• Workspace content: companies, contacts, notes, tasks, opportunities, and files you add.
• Usage data: pages viewed, features used, IP address, browser/device metadata, and approximate country derived from IP.
• Signals data: publicly available information about companies collected from public web sources, news, filings, and RSS feeds.
• Communications: support emails and in-product messages.

3. Legal bases (GDPR)

• Contract — to provide the Service you or your workspace subscribed to.
• Legitimate interests — securing the Service, preventing abuse, improving features, and processing publicly available business information for B2B intelligence.
• Consent — for non-essential cookies and marketing emails, where required.
• Legal obligation — tax, accounting, and responding to lawful requests.

4. How we use personal data

• Provide, secure, and improve the Service.
• Generate AI summaries, scores, and reports on business signals.
• Send transactional emails (invitations, password resets, scheduled reports, task reminders).
• Detect fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
• Comply with legal obligations.

5. Sub-processors

We rely on carefully selected sub-processors including cloud hosting, database and authentication, transactional email delivery, AI inference, and web-content retrieval. A current list with purpose and location is provided in the DPA.

6. International transfers

Personal data may be processed in the United States and other countries. Where required, transfers are protected by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and additional technical/organizational safeguards.

7. Retention

• Account data: for the life of the account plus 90 days.
• Workspace content: until deleted by the workspace, then purged within 30 days.
• Signals older than 7 days can be deleted by workspace admins; auto-purge is available.
• Audit and security logs: up to 12 months.
• Billing records: as required by tax law (typically 7 years).

8. Security

The Service is operated with technical and organizational measures including: encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) and encryption at rest as provided by our hosting and database providers, multi-tenant isolation enforced by row-level security, role-based access control, least-privilege administrative access, secret management, logging of authentication and administrative actions, dependency and vulnerability scanning, and incident-response practices.

We do not currently hold SOC 2, ISO/IEC 27001, or any other third-party security certification, and no independent security audit or penetration test has been performed to date. We will update this notice if that changes.

9. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and similar laws) you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Exercise these rights by emailing privacy@beeto.biz. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

We do not sell personal information and do not use personal data to train third-party AI models beyond the ephemeral inference required to produce the requested output.

10. Children

The Service is intended for business users and is not directed to children under 16.

11. Changes

We will notify you of material changes to this Policy in-product or by email at least 15 days in advance.
